Once again, Publix Super Markets Food For All program supports programming at Poverello. Each time your Publix Retail Associate asks if you’d like to donate to Food For All, you’re supporting the programming at Poverello too! On February 7, 2018 CEO Tom Pietrogallo and Board Chair Judith Reichman received a check from Publix for $10,000. In total, your generosity provided over 6.4 Million to charities throughout the South. Keep in mind, that’s not all the Super Market chain does for Poverello. In 2017, they funded our Children’s Food Pack that we provide to children of people with HIV to support their nutritional needs by donating $20,000. Every day, our van is making rounds that throughout the week goes to 4 different Publix supermarkets making sure that our program participants are receiving nutritious grains through their donated breads. We’re grateful for community partners like Publix and you, without which we couldn’t feed and assist people with critical and chronic illnesses in South Florida. Thank You!
