“To everyone at Poverello,

I’m writing this letter of appreciation to thank you all for your generosity. I owe a special thanks to Mr. Young for his patience and guidance is helping me to get my life back. Broken, homeless, lost, Mr. Young took the time to talk with me to explain the available resources where and how to find help. Mr. Young gave me hope when I had given up trying to mend the broken pieces that had become my drug addicted life…I have a place to live, food and clean clothing. Most of all, I have my life back, hope, faith and a new positive outlook on the endless possibilities my future holds. Allow everyone and especially Mr. Young to carry out this most important work because without it, me and many others might still be lost.”
