Poverello has nearly 11,000 square feet of space dedicated to our income-generating thrift store. The store and your donations are critical to Poverello’s ability to help the community. Both donated items and purchased items impact Poverello directly. Many high quality items can be purchased at a fraction of their original cost, allowing shoppers on a budget the opportunity to purchase unique items.

When you donate something like a sofa, you provide Poverello with the resources, once the sofa is sold, to feed one family for more than one month. Your donation to the thrift store has a direct impact on our ability to carry out our mission to feed needy women, children, and men with chronic/critical illnesses, who are living in poverty or experiencing a financial crisis due to illness. Every bit helps, everything you do makes a difference in someone’s life.

To donate items for the thrift store, they can be dropped off at the donation door on the side of the building. For larger items like furniture or appliances, see information below.

Fill out the form below or email frontdesk1@poverello.org and/or call 954-561-3663 for dispatcher M-F 8am-4pm.
